By downloading Afean VPN, you automatically agree to all terms of the current privacy policy. This document explains how Afean VPN (hereinafter, the Application and also referred to as our, us, and we) collects, stores, and shares both personal and non-personal data of users. If you disagree with any point of this Privacy Policy, you should immediately stop using the Application and delete it from your device. 

There are several types of information that may be processed, namely personal and non-personal user data, payment data, and cookies. 

The type of information containing data to identify its owner is personal. It may include, for example, username, age, gender, address, photo, etc. Afean VPN does not collect the personal data of its users. 

Vice versa, information like IP address, device model, and operating system version – that does not reveal the identity is non-personal user data. We do not collect this data as well. 

Payment data contains details of the user’s debit and credit cards. Even though we have premium subscriptions and can charge for some types of our services, Afean VPN does not use any of the users’ payment information.

And the last one is cookies. These pieces of information collect small amounts of data for traffic analysis only. They do not contain personal details. Analytics is surely important but we do not need to collect cookies.

You should also be aware of third-party networks.

Afean VPN helps our users to visit the sites they need without any restrictions. For this purpose, we use routing to change the path, which your device follows to surf the internet. At the same time, your traffic may pass through third-party networks that are not under our control. This may provide a third party with your IP address or the data you use in the Application. But third parties will not be able to access your personal data.

The security of your data is one of the top priorities. We do our best to protect any piece of information entrusted to us by our users and implement all the necessary measures to ensure its security. Taking into account the nature of communications and information processing technology, we have to warn you that Afean VPN cannot guarantee that personal data will be safe from intrusion by others.

Afean VPN has the right to introduce amendments to this Privacy Policy without prior notice to the users. We encourage you to check this Privacy Policy once in a while for any changes. If you disagree with the changes to this Privacy Notice, you should deactivate your account.
